Call-for Abstract: 2023 African Health Summit in Ireland

Abstract (papers) are invited for presentation at the 2023 African Health Summit, Ireland, in all areas related to healthcare, research, practice, policy, health promotion and education.
Presenting your abstracts/work at the summit is an opportunity to bring to spotlight, your ideas, thoughts and knowledge on contemporary issues relating to health sector and healthcare professionals.
Call For Abstract
Types of Presentation: 
a). Oral b). Poster Language: All documents must be submitted in English

ABSTRACT FORMAT: 
a). Research Abstract (maximum of 350 words including the title and author(s)’s name) 
b). Short Paper and other abstract types (Maximum of 300 words)

CALL FOR PAPER PRESENTATION

The inaugural African Health Summit Ireland 2023 will be an in-person conference; authors must attend and present at the conference in-person.

Papers may have multiple authors; at least one author must register for and attend the conference The submitting author should input all author details and upload their abstract using the abstract submission form.
All abstracts must be submitted in English Submitted abstracts must be anonymized.

All abstracts will be double-blind reviewed for the quality of their educational/theoretical/research content, their adherence to submission guidelines, and their link to the conference theme
Authors should indicate the type of submission (oral, poster) on the form and whether they are willing to accept an alternate format.

Oral Sessions

These face-to-face live sessions are approximately 15 minutes followed by a question period. They can address a range of theoretical, educational or research-based topics relating to but not limited to the conference theme

Poster Sessions

Posters will be displayed in hard copy format and presented in real time and space with a question period. They can address a range of theoretical, educational or research-based topics relating to but not limited to the conference theme. 
CALL FOR ABSTRACT

Abstract format  

The formats your abstract should follow.

Introduction

Briefly introduce the topic of the research presentation and the context in which it was conducted. State the aim and objectives of the research.

Method:

Describe the research design, study participants, techniques/interventions used to collect and analyze data.

Results

Present the major findings. Include confidence intervals or levels of significance of statistical tests, where appropriate. Report only those results that relate to your conclusion in a clear and concise manner

Conclusions:

State only those conclusions that are directly supported by data. Report on the recommendations or actions to be and/or have been implemented because of the study findings such as: 
a). initiating or enhancing a targeted prevention 
b). developing procedure, policies, or legislation Keywords: 

Provide a list of 3-5 keywords that capture the essence of the research

Main messages:

The abstract should be no more than 300 words and should be written in clear and concise language. It should be structured to follow the above guidelines to ensure that the research presentation is well- organized and easy to understand
For other abstract types
The abstract should follow the same guidelines above, but no more than 250 words.
